Where is the windshield wiper motor located on a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix?
It's located under that vent, between the windshield and the hood.
There should be a few screws too release it and lift it up, to access
your wiper motor.
This operation can be tricky and time consuming, take your time,
you can follow the instructions in the new part box.
I always suggest OEM parts, little more to buy but worth it, from the
fitment point of view.

Under the cowl grille. Not easy for a beginner. You'll probably bend the transom the first time, and then you'll be screwed for sure.
